The former Major League Baseball player joined the firm in 2019, becoming an integral member of the team and key contributor to Klabin’s successful growth.

(AUGUST 14, 2025 – TORRANCE, CALIF.) – The Klabin Company/CORFAC International today announced that Nick Buss, SIOR, has been named a Principal and Partner of the firm. Since joining Klabin in 2019, Buss has demonstrated a tireless work ethic, a deep commitment to client success, and an unwavering team-first mentality—qualities that have made him an invaluable contributor to the company’s ongoing growth in the Southern California industrial real estate market.

A former Major League Baseball player, Buss transitioned into commercial real estate following a more than 10-year professional baseball career, including stints with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels. He capped his playing days with the Minnesota Twins organization in 2018 and returned to the University of Southern California to complete his degree in Urban Studies and Planning before beginning his real estate career. His introduction to The Klabin Company came through Managing Principal Frank Schulz, SIOR—a fellow USC alumnus and athlete—who quickly recognized Buss’s drive and natural leadership.

Since joining the firm, Buss has consistently delivered results, building a strong portfolio of tenant and landlord representation assignments. His passion for the business, competitive spirit, and ability to build authentic relationships have quickly elevated him as one of the firm’s most dynamic brokers.
