NAMED ‘TOP BROKERS’ BY FIRST INDUSTRIAL REALTY TRUST

    TORRANCE, CA – Todd Taugner, SIOR, a principal of The Klabin Company, and Frank Schulz, both in the firm’s Torrance office, have been named among First Industrial Realty Trust’s top performing brokers as part of its 2008 “First Place Broker Recognition Program”. The “First Place” program recognizes industrial broker excellence nationwide.
    First Industrial Realty Trust, a leading provider of industrial real estate supply chain solutions, will award Taugner and Schulz “with extensive publicity, visibility and exposure in recognition of their outstanding work with First Industrial during 2008.”
    The achievements by Taugner and Schulz will also be honored by First Industrial in a national campaign and will be publicized on the company’s website at www.firstindustrial.com/first place.
    Among the major transactions completed by Taugner and Schulz on behalf of First Industrial was the recent sale of a 213,544 square foot building in Rancho Dominguez, CA to DHL/Exel, Inc. Earlier, the Klabin brokers consulted First Industrial for the re-positioning of the heretofore vacant building that helped transform it into a desirable modern logistics facility.
